Margery’s marriage was recorded in both Etchilhampton and Allcannings, on two different dates in 1786.
Grandmother
Robertshaw (Ann née Buckley) and family from Florence Middlemiss’s historic album — I presume either written by Florence Robertshaw or written in the sense of Ann was grandmother in the picture.
George Vertue
and Susannah Davies were married here in 1818. This is 1790 painting by JMW Turner of the Archbishop’s Palace with St Mary’s behind.

Report on fire
in Yeovil on 7th March 1863 that burnt down the neighbouring pub killing 4 people and spreading to the Morris’s home in Vicarage Street.
